“La nota dolente di Chiang Mai”

The pool was pretty nice and the lobby felt warm and typical. The lady running the place comes off as quite unpleasant and rude, which clashes with the usual Thai hospitality. Breakfast was downright bad, and overall the hotel looked a bit run-down with patched sheets and pillowcases, torn towels, a sewage smell in the bathroom, and rooms that were poorly lit.

We booked two adjoining rooms for four people, which worked perfectly, but the lady at reception was rather unfriendly; although she could arrange many things, everything ended up costing about twice as much as elsewhere, and the hotel was tucked away in a back street.

A cozy, human‑sized hotel that feels warm and pleasant. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The pool isn’t meant for swimming but offers a nice break when it’s hot. Breakfast is a bit odd yet rich. The staff can seem strict at times, but they’re genuinely kind.

A quiet spot with a nice pool. The balcony is spacious and I liked that the rooms were linked. A pleasant hotel for families. The owner didn’t seem very friendly, and the TVs and sockets in our rooms didn’t work.

A really cute place. Located on a quiet, pleasant street, the hotel is relatively small. The pool sits in the center.
