The location was good, a bit farther from the beach but still easy to walk, with a local vibe and a nice atmosphere. Everything worked great. There was no generator as the listing said, but at that time you could still go to the beach, so it wasn’t a huge deal.

“The worst ever!!”

There wasn’t much I liked. Our stay was quite disappointing. The owner lacked the professionalism needed to run a hospitality business. We went to Malapascua specifically for diving, which means waking up at 4:30 a.m., but the owner hosted private karaoke parties without any regard for guests’ comfort. To make things worse, there were about six dogs in the garden that barked all night, making it impossible to sleep. When we mentioned these problems, the owner immediately told us to leave and said he would process a refund. It is completely unacceptable for a hotel owner to ask paying guests to leave just for asking for a reasonable environment.

“Recomendable”

I was greeted by a helpful staff member and my room was spotless and roomy; I definitely recommend it. The location was a bit tricky but still manageable.

The hostel was the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. The light on my bunk bed, however, was broken.

The bed was very comfortable and the place was quiet, just a 10‑minute walk from the harbor. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast option available.
