What a beautiful spot! I was only passing through and stayed just one night, but the combination of Weingut & Gästehaus is impressive, and the wine was excellent. Nothing to complain about.

“Quite place in nice winery”

Nice winery accommodation in a very quiet village. Species room, with side access. There is parking space in the winery. There was a small garden visible from the front/entry side. Not much. There was no breakfast available during my stay, maybe a small water cooker / coffee tea would be nice.

A friendly host and a practical room with a lovely, quiet garden right in front of the door – everything fit perfectly.

The location is very nice and the hosts are very friendly. The house wine is also recommended! Unfortunately there is no proper blackout for the roof windows, so we woke up very early with the sun.

We passed through the big gate where the car could park and the owner welcomed us warmly. Behind that spacious open area was a surprisingly large garden (which needed a bit of upkeep) that you reach via a small staircase. We could choose between the two rooms; since we preferred a bed without a footboard, we took the right one. The room was tidy and spacious enough for a table and chairs. The bathroom was roomy and spotless. Two bottles of chilled spring water were already in the fridge, a welcome touch on a day when it was almost 40 °C. Breakfast wasn’t offered, but that didn’t bother us. For dining you could drive a few minutes to Alzey, which is also nice for a walk. Overall, a good spot for a bridging night back home. The garden did need some maintenance.
