“Fabulous apartment with huge roof terrace by the beach”

We stayed in the ‘Heaven’ room with the roof terrace, which was huge, had a fantastic view and nice décor. The staff were helpful and breakfast was decent, but the air‑con in the apartment was loud near the bedrooms.

“Total discomfort”

Seafront room - big and clean. Having a non-functioning AC ruined our stay - not least in the extreme humidity and high temperatures. Despite constantly reporting the problem and any number of apparent attempts to address it, it all ended up with being patronised by a handyman in the morning who declared that "nothing was wrong"! (The only conclusion is that it had been deliberately pre-set on a timer - and who wants to get out of their bed at 4 in the morning to complain that they are being stifled? Please note: It's a very long way down to get any attention.) The result was a sleepless night and cancellation of all plans for that region. (Palermo has been a welcome relief and we are treated like gold here.) Would also advise against the much lauded and over-priced "Historic" restaurant which also had no AC to speak of. You are basically forced to swelter between perspex and a full on traffic jam and the wall of the establishment. Forget the "sea view/breeze! The much- promoted seafood couscous was sub-standard and extremely questionable. In no way did it correspond even to their own promotional video which flashes constantly on the wall - looking delicious and laden with seafood. The reality was more like random fish leftovers stirred up with couscous - betraying no hint of flavour whatsoever. Granted, it was better than the seafood place next door which also fobs its customers off with stale bread on obligatory cover charge. There, having persisted in inviting our custom, they proceeded to pace about impatiently - making it abundantly clear when our welcome was very rapidly overstayed. Last thing to deter prospective customers was the transport difficulties. Nobody in their right mind should traipse through unknown streets in that heat and humidity - yet taxis were non-existent. We went to huge lengths to visit that part of Sicily - and have fortunately now recovered from the sleeplessness and indigestion. Not from the disappointment of Trapani, though

The breakfast was good. The bathroom supplies were very sparse, the room on the main street had a window but no balcony, and there was a plastic drying rack in the room for towels.

“L’hotel si trova in una posizione comodissima che affaccia sia sul lungo mare che sul centro storico. Lo staff é gentile”

The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the area was convenient for both the historic centre and the seafront. I had high expectations for breakfast, but it could have been better.

“My few favorite place in Trapani”

A beautiful stay in Trapani—I'll definitely come back. My time at Central Gallery Rooms – Palazzo D’Ali’ Stati XIX was truly wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located in the heart of Trapani. It’s an ideal place to stay if you want to enjoy the city while having a beautiful and relaxing place to come home to. A very special thank you goes to the restaurant and breakfast staff. They were absolutely wonderful. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious and the perfect way to begin every day. More importantly, the warmth, kindness, and hospitality of the restaurant staff made every morning feel special. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of me. My advice for international guests who do not speak fluent Italian would simply be to make any booking changes or special arrangements directly, so everything is clearly documented and understood by everyone. That one issue does not change how I feel about this beautiful property. I absolutely plan to return whenever I am in Trapani. The location is fantastic, the hotel is beautiful, and the wonderful staff made it a place I will remember very fondly. This hotel is a must‑stay in Trapani, and I have a feeling it may quickly become one of your favorite destination hotels as well. And once again, to the beautiful restaurant staff: thank you for making every morning of my stay so special. I truly appreciated you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I did have one unfortunate misunderstanding regarding an additional night that I had originally requested and later no longer needed. Because I do not speak fluent Italian, communication directly between the hotel and me became difficult, and it made my final day less enjoyable than the rest of an otherwise fantastic stay. In the end, I chose to pay for the additional night rather than allow a misunderstanding to shadow everything I had loved about this hotel.
