“Amazing people and room”

Staying here was amazing; Ahmed and Mr Abdallah were incredibly welcoming, handled all our tours and transport, and the breakfasts and hospitality were beautiful – you won’t regret it.

“Would definitely recommend for a few days stay. It was lovely all in all!”

The place sits just behind Main Street, super quiet, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I loved the tastefully designed shali houses and the bed was very comfortable. They even gave us complimentary breakfast. The rooms feel a bit small, and it would be great if there were a mini fridge and kettle—though drinks are cheap, so it’s not a huge issue.

“Fantastic”

Siwa is a true treasure for any traveler, with unique scenery and genuinely warm locals; my time at Solei gave me lasting memories, especially since the hosts let us check in early and stay later, which was a lifesaver after a tiring night bus. The inn sits in an unbeatable spot surrounded by restaurants and shops, with a tasty ice‑cream shop right outside and just a short walk to the Siwa bus ticket office, making travel easy. Set at the base of the ancient Shali Fortress, the property oozes charm, the rooms are uniquely decorated and the air‑conditioning works perfectly cool. Mornings were perfect thanks to a very generous breakfast spread of fresh fruit, crisp veg, creamy yogurt, tender meat, fluffy scrambled eggs and cold‑pressed juice. This whole trip was an irreplaceable experience, and I’d urge everyone to come and discover Siwa for themselves. Everything else was fine.

The room felt very cozy, the staff were good, it’s right at the foot of the fortress, and reception greeted us with welcome drinks and breakfast.
