The welcome was good and the staff were pleasant. The facilities and rooms were clean and functional. There’s a small pool and a dining area overlooking the sea. One wing faces an inner courtyard, the other faces the dining area, pool, and sea. It’s tucked in a cul‑de‑sac 50 m from the La Tortue diving club. The noise was an issue: the pool closed at 18:00, and about 20 people—both adults and children—shouted nonstop on the terrace and in the dining pool from noon until 22:00. The next day I had to step in at 23:00 to ask a table to keep the place quiet.

I’ve been traveling a lot, and among all the hotels and resorts I’ve stayed at, Baki Resort gave one of the most exceptional customer‑service experiences I’ve ever had. From the manager down to the utility staff, everyone was genuinely accommodating, warm, and hospitable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, even though they’re very affordable. The location is great—you can swim, snorkel in the sea, and relax by the clean pool. I even saw the manager personally cleaning and checking the pool to keep it safe for guests; that level of dedication is impressive. The food was delicious—one of the best resort meals I’ve tried. They serve quality dishes that truly make your stay more enjoyable. A highlight was the resort manager’s hospitality: they offered airport pick‑up and drop‑off assistance, which made my travel convenient and stress‑free. They also have affordable motorbikes for rent, so guests can explore the area at their own pace, and they genuinely help guide you on how to visit places with less hassle. After I checked out, my flight was suddenly canceled, so I had to extend for another night, and the manager did their best to help me stay with minimal extra cost. I truly appreciated that kindness and consideration. I’m genuinely happy with the accommodation, customer service, staff, facilities, and food. The location of the hotel itself could be pleasant, but the room was not cleaned and the towels and sheets were not changed even after we asked. Two of the three rooms had cockroaches, it was noisy, and the curtains let in too much light.

The marine sanctuary right in front of the property is vibrant and teeming with marine life. Nothing was missing; just expect the unexpected in the Philippines.
