The Old Grain Store Bed & Breakfast

“An experience we would repeat.”

The location was very quiet and peaceful. We were greeted warmly and shown where everything was. The beds were comfortable, the room was warm and bright, and there was plenty of tea and coffee. The cold water didn’t work for us, but maybe we were doing something wrong.

“Would stay again apart from if there is a heatwave ☺️”

The host welcomed us on one of the hottest days of the year with a cool drink and an ice lolly; the facilities were very good and the breakfast was nice. The place was peaceful, but the room got very hot during the heatwave, and although a fan was provided, it helped only a little.

The hosts were warm and friendly, and they handled any trouble with ease. The nearby golf course and fishing lake were beautiful and relaxing, surrounded by nature. Small villages were close to Ramsey and Huntingdon. The shower was lovely, the bed comfortable, and there were plenty of supplies. The parking was convenient. Nothing negative.

“Perfect in everyway and a very relaxing few days with wonderful hospitality.”

The continental breakfast was lovely, offering a wide selection of everything you might want. The dining room was very clean, well equipped, and spacious enough to relax and enjoy both the food and the atmosphere. The hospitality was excellent. Like everywhere right now, we’re all dealing with an intense heatwave. Portable fans were supplied, but if global warming is inevitable, stronger fans might be helpful. This is not a criticism, just a suggestion.
