The Holbox Dream Beachfront Hotel is a car-free island retreat on Holbox Island, 25 km long and 2 km wide. Caribbean-style rooms with balconies or terraces offer complimentary WiFi, private bathrooms, and two beds. Two pools, including one sea-facing, and a Beach Club with sun loungers, restaurant, and bar service are available. Island tours and dolphin watching excursions are offered.

The beach was a bit far from the hotel, which made it less convenient than I’d hoped.

The design and proximity to the sea were impressive, and the staff were very friendly.

The accommodation was excellent for a relaxing stay right on the beach while still being close to bars and restaurants; it’s quiet because it’s not in the city center, yet you can walk to the center in just two minutes, so I highly recommend it. The hotel itself is beautiful and pleasant, with spacious, spotless rooms that have air conditioning, and the service from check‑in onward was incredible. They also offer beach loungers and a pool right by the shore.

The hotel sits directly on the sea with a fantastic stretch of beach, and the breakfast selection is wide. However, the beach staff kept trying to sell drinks to us all the time.
