I’ve been coming back to the Red Rocker Inn for a while, but this was my first overnight visit, and every minute from check‑in to the perfect dinner, the peaceful stay, and the complimentary breakfast felt flawless; the house and its surroundings are stunning, and I can’t wait to return again.

The overall vibe of the place is pleasant, and the owners are friendly and eager to meet our needs. I chose a room because the listing promised a tub for my wife’s usual baths, but the bathroom had been updated and the tub replaced with a walk‑in shower, a fact I only noticed later that evening when it was too late to switch rooms; it’s not a deal‑breaker, but a heads‑up would have helped.

The house exudes charm and stays clean, coffee is always on hand, and the staff is courteous and supportive; they even sent flowers, though the cost seemed a bit steep for what was given, yet they were still pleasant. Breakfast was solid, but the room was cramped with just one chair, the temperature was very cold during breakfast, and there was no way to control the heat.

Breakfasts were better than most, yet the room was very chilly; the window next to the armchair was drafty, and I had to request a space heater to get rid of the cold, which made me doubt whether the price matched the comfort level.

The house’s ambiance was peaceful and quiet, creating a relaxing atmosphere; breakfast was excellent, coffee was good, and I enjoyed eating by the fireplace, all while the décor was beautifully festive for Christmas.
