The food was fantastic and the staff great, but the cost didn't match what we received; we thought the bathroom wouldn't be shared, and the pillows and mattress were uncomfortable.

The recent renovation felt unfinished and only a few power points worked in the rooms; the main road was noisy with mining trucks passing every minute all night, but otherwise it was a solid pub‑hotel and the staff were accommodating and relaxed.

“A clean comfortable bed for one night. Needs a kettle and coffee/tea facility. Bathroom down the hall could be a pro”

Getting there was easy from the highway, but there was no ensuite and the fridge was completely empty.
