The place was very quiet, and there was nothing to complain about.

The location, clean and pretty rooms, common area with a fridge and a small drinks service, daily water bottle refills, and a terrace surrounded by apple trees made for a great stay. The room felt a bit warm and, because of the road leading up to Zell, the window couldn’t be opened until late at night, but that was a minor issue; a ceiling fan would have helped.

The room was very spacious with a great sitting area, and breakfast was also good.

“Top Gasthof, feines Essen, guter Preis”

A very nice, hearty inn that was clean and comfortable. We’ll definitely return, and the breakfast was varied and fine. The only missing feature, given the current conditions, was air conditioning, but that’s the only thing that could be criticized.

Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, the room was spotless and well maintained, and the bed was excellent. Dinner at the hotel was superb, the surroundings were beautiful, and the location was great for everything. Parking was available at the property, and there was nothing to complain about—this is our secret tip in the Black Forest.
