The location was good, but there were many cobwebs on the ceilings and the room was uncomfortable because it was cramped; the walls shared with the neighboring apartment were poorly insulated and everything could be heard.

The accommodation was fine, well‑located and relatively well equipped, and the staff were very attentive and eager to solve problems; the setting was wonderful if you want to disconnect. However, it was not suitable for four people, the sofa bed was unusable for sleeping, and that handicap ruined the entire stay.

The spot is perfect if you want to explore Cantabria – the lake visible from the viewpoint is stunning and in five minutes you’re in the town of La Población, which is larger than Lanchares and has plenty of bars and restaurants. We felt very comfortable there.

The flat felt cozy like home and the surroundings were great for the kids, though the internet connection was nonexistent.

“Entorno con mucho encanto, una pena que no pongan interés en la limpieza”

The setting was beautiful, right in nature, and the house was easy to reach with good facilities, but the cleaning was terrible – the room was full of cobwebs, dusty furniture, and lint, dust and hair under the beds and sofas, so we had to clean it ourselves.
