Tolroy Manor Holiday Park

The spot was spot on for what we needed, but the place itself was a mess: food crumbs and dog treats under the sofa, a filthy floor, and not enough bedding for all the beds. We asked for oven trays and knives three times with promises of delivery, yet nothing arrived. The bathroom had a terrible smell caused by a clogged drain full of hair and grime that we had to clean ourselves.

The place scored an 8.0/10 for its excellent location, easy parking, and very good price compared to other spots in Cornwall; the kitchen had been modernised and overall it offered great value for money. However, a weird mouldy smell—especially near the wardrobe—affected my sleep while I was using the bed next to it, and the tennis court was poorly maintained.

“Great location for travelling!”

This 8.0/10 property has an excellent location and good value, yet it feels dated and needs deeper cleaning: cobwebs were on the ceiling and both dead and live spiders were found around the premises. Wi‑Fi should be available and included in the price these days.
