The room assigned to us (room 3) needed serious deep cleaning; it was moldy. There were small cockroaches and the water plumbing was broken.

“Good value for money. If you’re gonna be out most in the day, it’s good enough.”

I found the place easy to locate on Google Maps, and if you ask a tricycle driver to take you to “Edgar’s Miki” they’ll drop you right across from Halajo, even though the drivers don’t seem to know the name. It’s also within walking distance from the Fariñas bus terminal, and there’s a nearby bbq shop called Estancia and an empanada shop. The staff were great, but the room isn’t soundproofed, so you can’t get a long sleep because tricycles start honking as early as 5‑6 AM. There’s a 10 pm curfew and no refrigerator.

“Je ne recommande pas”

The ground‑floor room was badly insulated, tiny, and had a terrible odor in the unventilated bathroom. Constant noise, a very small bed, and pay‑per‑use water and coffee at breakfast made me not recommend it.

The location was very close to the main plaza, and there was nothing negative to mention.
