The location is fantastic. The breakfast with a view of the bay sets a great tone for the whole day. The selection at breakfast is rather limited – it’s almost all sweet, and there are no vegetables – that’s something that needs improvement.

The hotel sits right on the sea, in a gorgeous cove with a beach and a Moorish tower, surrounded by greenery, yet it’s practically inside the city of Cagliari – the centre is reachable in less than ten minutes. All the sea‑front rooms have a terrace with a stunning view. There’s a lovely terrace with a great restaurant that’s open to the outdoors, and a convenient free parking lot with a gate right in front of the entrance. Prices are fair and the staff are friendly. Aside from the restaurant, the hotel feels like a 1960s three‑star. The rooms are clean and were recently redecorated, and the bathrooms have been freshly renovated and are very tidy, but the overall level is decent rather than outstanding, which matches the price. The lobby looks a bit old‑fashioned and there’s no elevator – it’s only two floors, so carrying luggage is a hassle. Breakfast is only decent, but it’s sea‑front.

The beachside spot is pretty good, far from the city centre! It’s a bit off‑kilter – only one room is left, and the room type is wrong. The rest is fine.
