“Lovely basic stay.”

The place was great and the room was good, communication worked well, but the staff seemed inexperienced except for one woman, there was no coffee or tea in the rooms despite a kettle, we didn’t know how to make a gin and tonic even though it was on the menu, the dining area played loud music that was somewhat annoying, and the overall vibe wasn’t very guest‑centric, though the location was still excellent.

The room was very large with a great view of nature, the location was superb, and breakfast and dinner were rustic and tasty, yet the staff were friendly but you had to keep looking for them.

The location and staff were excellent, but we arrived late and discovered we could no longer eat because that had to be communicated earlier in the morning, which was disappointing, though fortunately there was another nearby restaurant we could use.
