The word “great” feels too weak; it’s like being at home but not quite. The setting and welcome were superb, the dinner was mouth‑watering and the hospitality unmatched. The rooms were tidy and clean. For a farmhouse this level of service is a 10‑point rating and praise. The only small flaw would be that the breakfast could have offered a bit more salty options.

“Personale gentile ma bagno senza pietà”

The property sits deep in nature and the staff is friendly, with a gluten‑free breakfast available. The bathrooms were awful: in our room the toilet seat swung shut on the back of the sitter because it was poorly mounted, so I had to use the outdoor toilet several times. The room was cramped, had no bidet, and the walls showed damp marks; the whole room felt very humid.

It feels like stepping back in time, simple, no luxury, but the people are friendly and treat you like family, and a mother cooks the most delicious food for you; you’re close to Florence, Pisa and other well‑known cities, just a fine place to stay. We liked everything; we love simplicity.
