The explanations about how to reach Jomon Sugi and the details provided were very helpful. The downside was that there was no place for guests to interact with each other.

The manager of the guest house was amazing—friendly, considerate, and well‑versed in island activities; he advised me on which buses to take and warned about potential difficulties getting to my hike at Jomon Sugi, where bus schedules are scarce and precise information is hard to find. He made the hike possible and also recommended great local restaurants.
