The location was excellent, right on the main street, and the old building had character like the surrounding properties; everything was very clean. The food was excellent, the staff were polite and very helpful. The only downside was the carpark was small, but I still managed to get a spot as requested.

The location was good and the bed was comfortable, but the room was very dated, the shower had no pressure and the bracket for the shower head was broken and wouldn’t stay upright at a reasonable level. Road noise was quite bad—probably older windows, but it’s a nitpick. The curtains were the best, but light was an issue; blackout curtains would help.

The ambience was friendly and it’s well‑located in town, but the shower was disappointing—lukewarm at best—and the rooms were a bit cramped.

The shower was hot and the breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful – nothing else to complain about.
