“Het waren heerlijke dagen!”
The overall look of the hotel, along with the owners and staff, is very good thanks to their friendliness, cheerfulness, and customer focus. Its central location in the Sauerland, near the beautiful Hunaukamm and a bit away from the tourist hotspots Winterberg and Willingen, only adds to the appeal.
The staff are very friendly, helpful, quick, and competent. Rooms are clean and modern. (Even though the hotel buildings are very old and the corridors smell like old antiques.) The price is somewhat high compared to other destinations and the regional offering. Restaurant prices also feel a bit steep, following the trend in the area (more like a medium‑sized or small burger with a small side around €20).
“Bescheiden”
The place was clean, but sometimes the hot water didn't work and the hotel pool was terribly cold.
The Landhotel Albers once again met our expectations. The owner family is welcoming, a waiter is friendly and attentive, breakfast is great, the setting is dreamy, rooms are tidy, and the pool and sauna are excellent—everything is top quality!
The location was perfect for our needs, and the staff were great and very welcoming.
