The location was right in the centre, yet the place reeked, was very dark, noisy at night – we only managed about an hour of sleep while garbage trucks, buses and the constant clatter of the pitoreta passed by.

The location was convenient, but the whole hotel felt worn‑out despite its former glory, the flush worked only every other use, the Wi‑Fi was poor, our room went untouched for four days with no fresh towels, and the breakfasts…
