“Schönes Hotel im Herzen von Arona”

Historic hotel in a good location, right by the lake and the promenade. The small balcony with a great view of the lake—especially at sunrise (see photos)—was lovely. The facilities are good, the bed is comfortable and the rain shower head is very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty. In the twilight, countless ants drove me off the balcony; the whole balcony was buzzing. During the day, at night, and even the next morning they were gone.

The spot is great, right by the lake and not far from the train station. Breakfast was hearty and tasty, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The price‑to‑value ratio is solid.
