The host was kind and even swapped rooms when she saw an older guest struggling with the stairs; breakfast was simple yet tasty and cheap, the courtyard pool was a nice touch, and the area was quiet. The only drawback was a worn‑out mattress on one side of the bunk bed, which was uncomfortable.

A cockroach was spotted right on the sink where the toothbrushes sat, and the minibar was so noisy we had to unplug it to get any sleep.
