Hotel Cavallino Bianco Rimini

A great little family hotel with very tasty food. The location is perfect. The beach is a few minutes’ walk away and in the evenings many people are out on the streets and in the shops. We had a small room with a big balcony, which was great in the mega heat. Everything was always kept very clean. A pleasant atmosphere prevailed in the hotel even though we were the only Germans and didn’t understand anything :-) We could park the car in a parking spot 5 minutes away, which didn’t bother us with the big kids.

Very friendly, excellent cleanliness. The only flaw I could find is the small shower with a curtain that sticks to the body and the lighting that needs to be improved, which is terrible for makeup and getting ready for the night.

I really liked the overall vibe of the place, but the shower feels old‑fashioned and hard to keep dry, especially when trying to bathe a child.

We had a three-course meal, which was a plus. The food was tasty and relatively varied. That’s where my positives end. The rooms are old and very small for two people, essentially mini rooms. There is no sound insulation at all. You can hear everything and everyone. Even breathing can be heard. Many elderly people stay in the hotel, get up early, and by 5 a.m. you can’t sleep because you hear everything. The staff is very strange, not very friendly. And the attitude towards Italians and us was noticeably different. The Italians were treated very well, some got larger portions and more fruit. We were just a few times forgotten to set the table, give portions of food, and the fruit was always overripe. Breakfast was the same every day. There were no tables on the balcony, but for some reason other people had them. The hotel is fine for one or two nights, but not for a proper long vacation. And one more thing, everything has to be paid for: air conditioning, refrigerator, drinks, parking near the hotel is also paid.
