The Parkhotel Landau features a modern wellness area and quality cuisine. This 4-star hotel is next to Landaus Ostpark gardens and Jugendstil-Festhalle hall, a 5-minute walk from the old quarter. Quiet rooms with modern furnishings and complimentary mineral water are offered. The hotel pool, sauna, and scenic Ostpark are on site. Regional specialties and wine are served at Brasserie "Wein & Dein".

The spot is very good, the breakfast buffet is modern and stylish, the fitness room is contemporary, and the pool is modern and well kept, yet the breakfast lines were “long”; perhaps time slots for breakfast would help. Our room was on the first floor facing the street, and a smoking area below the room let smoke drift in; maybe the hotel could separate those areas from the rooms.

It’s a great place to explore Landau and the Pfalz and visit friends, and it seems well suited for conferences, which they appear to specialize in. The décor is rather chic, the staff are lovely, and breakfast is good, but on the day of departure the key cards stopped working in the late morning—though the concierge said that was a mistake.
