“voyage en dehors du temps dans un confort royal.”
The spot, the castle, the room, breakfast, the pier on the Allier, and our charming, available host. I wish we could have dinner at the castle, though.
“Inoubliable”
We had a magical, timeless moment at Château de Meauce. Luckily our stay overlapped a classical music concert that further enhanced the experience. Huge thanks and a big shout‑out to the hosts, the artisans of the château’s revival.
“Magnifique chateau sur la riviere avec un excellent acceuil”
A very nice spot, a very large room with a splendid bathroom. Breakfast was also very good. The highlight was swimming in the river next to the château.

The historic character of the house, the accompanying story, the grandiose size of the room, modern comfort within centuries‑old walls, and even a bath in the Allier. Nothing else, except perhaps a detail to improve: an extension to position the fan properly during heat waves, but I had one.
The room was beautiful.
