“Geweldig”

The hotel staff were very friendly, breakfast was fine, and the walking area was beautiful; the hotel sits just outside Hahnenklee, so it’s very quiet. All the restaurants are within walking distance, about 300 to 400 m. Our room was gorgeous and newly renovated, but the rest of the hotel feels a bit dated, which is reflected in the nightly price.

“Wir kommen nicht wieder.”

The location of the accommodation is great, but the carp pond has dried up and the breakfast room is very nice. We urgently need investment: our bed was defective, not just slightly, and we had to assemble the frame ourselves, using books as support. Nights were restless and unrecoverable. We were told we’d get a new room the next day, but that didn’t happen. On the first day we came for breakfast, only 3 rolls were left for 4 people; restocking came after other guests arrived, and the rolls were gone again. No more were provided. The house’s technology also needs urgent renewal. Overall, everything is in dire need of renovation. For people with walking difficulties, the accommodation is unsuitable. The balcony described was missing from both of our rooms.

The hospitality was excellent—friendly, caring, helpful, and uncomplicated hosts. The large, clean, well‑equipped holiday apartment had a comfortable, huge bed and delicious breakfast with tasty bread. The location in the Kurpark, close to a great playground, is ideal, and the price‑performance is right. We had a wonderful short holiday. Thank you very much!
