Hotel Nurlytau

The room was clean, the bedding new and comfortable, the bed was cozy. Towels were new and good. They gave toothbrushes with paste, shower gel and shampoo, and soap. Breakfast was home‑style, tasty – milk porridge, fried/boiled eggs, tea, bread, butter. The TV didn’t work, and the sockets near the bed didn’t work either. The hotel didn’t have great soundproofing, but we were lucky, there was no noise.

The lakeside location is great. Parking right in front of the hotel, breakfast is simple but fine (tea, bread with butter, milk pudding is set on the table). The entrance is a bit hard to find, and the sofa is worn out.

The hotel is far from the village centre, in the woods, a 40‑minute walk, but we drove – 5 minutes to the centre, and parking is large near the hotel. The hotel itself isn’t fancy, but everything works, the room is clean, breakfasts are simple but tasty, enough to start the day. No hair dryer in the room. There is a fridge. Overall a good choice, fully worth the price.

The hotel’s spot is gorgeous, with a pine forest and a lake right on the property.
