“Hard to beat overnight accommodation in Carlisle City Centre”

The place sits just 2 minutes from the City Centre, and even though it's right next to a busy main road, the room stayed surprisingly quiet. The guest house had tasteful furnishings, a comfy bed, and the breakfast was solid. I appreciated the little extras, like Earl Grey and Green Tea with Jasmine teabags in the tea/coffee room selection, especially when you’re usually stuck with just ‘breakfast tea’. The host was very friendly and even offered in‑house bicycle storage. The only downside was that there wasn’t much else to say—nothing else came to mind.

“Quality stay at a reasonable price.”

I’m 80 and found that a bit of guidance on how to use a modern shower faucet would have been useful. A handrail on the last two steps up to the second floor would have made the climb safer.
