“Underwhelming and with”

The location was good, but the breakfast was terrible, especially for a luxury hotel—worse than a continental breakfast at a cheap place. The restaurant staff were unfriendly, and the room faced a brick building and was pricey. I managed to switch to a street‑view room, which was small but nicer. The front desk staff seemed disengaged, with only one friendly person.

“Well located friendly hotel with complimentary breakfast”

The spot was great, staff were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was nice. The junior suite on the upper floor was spacious and bright. The rates were high, and most rooms are small, which is normal in NY. The junior suite we got was dark and looked old‑fashioned, but we asked for an upper‑floor suite and the staff moved us right away. The upgrade made a huge difference, and we’re grateful for how pleasant the stay turned out to be.

The location was very nice, but upon arrival there was no hospitality—no bellman to help with luggage. The room felt claustrophobic, outdated, and had a strong mold and mildew odor. Basic amenities were almost non‑existent, giving the stay a bare‑bones feel rather than boutique.
