The location is fine. The mattress quality isn’t the best, and the wardrobe needs improvement.

“Un soggiorno mediocre.”

The hotel sits right across from the basilica, making everything within easy walking distance, but the building needs upkeep and renovation; the shower head in the bathroom was faulty, detaching easily and exposing the rubber tube inside, which limited water flow. The carpet was absolutely unhygienic and should be removed. Room cleaning was sloppy: the upper wardrobes were dust‑covered. The staff, including the owner, were rather cold and selective in showing care, friendliness, and hospitality—qualities we usually expect from a reception manager and that we rarely find on our trips.

“Ojo te cobran aparte la tarifa de estancia por noche , aparte de lo que ya pagaste en booking”

It was close to Porziuncula and offered breakfast, but the hotel is very old and hasn’t received good maintenance; the TV didn’t work, among other issues.

The location is good, nothing else.
