Mas des Herbes Blanches, a former Provençal farmhouse, sits 8 km from Gordes and 45 km from Avignon. The Relais & Châteaux property offers heated seasonal outdoor pool, bar, and free Wi‑Fi. Rooms feature air‑conditioning, individual heating, balcony or terrace, minibar, TV, and some access to a semi‑private pool. The gourmet restaurant overlooks the Luberon Valley.

The location is gorgeous and very quiet. The dining area where breakfast is also served feels rather uncozy because of the lighting; the furniture is outdated and doesn’t match the rest of the Relais.

I liked the location. The services and architecture left something to be desired; I had higher expectations. The gym is terrible.

The hotel is spectacular. The staff management was poor. I stayed several nights in one of the best rooms in the hotel. From day one, the showers—there were two bathrooms in the suite—were faulty. On the second day, the water simply ran out. The temporary staff were rude and unprepared; they were only active after we complained via Booking. Breakfast was also weak gastronomically, further hampered by the amateur staff.
