The location was perfect.

The house is very pretty and comfortable; staying at a train station is special, and being next to the greenway is also a very good point. The owner's attention was perfect at first, but it fell short when we needed it. On the last day we had a fire very close by and he neither contacted us nor could we reach him; we felt very lost. He wrote to us the next day apologizing.

The host was extremely friendly, the accommodation very comfortable, in a lovely building that is extremely well maintained.

The location is exceptional, with a stunning view of Monte Farinha and Mondim de Basto, and being right next to the Eco Via makes walking or cycling trips easy. Although the rooms and living room are equipped with air conditioning, it was very cold during the stay and the units were ineffective, not providing a pleasant indoor temperature.
