From the room to the entire resort and its facilities, it was one of our best experiences; everything was impeccably maintained and exceptionally comfortable, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Every staff member was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Overall, this was one of our best stays, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the lifts were not very user‑friendly; if you forget your card or have trouble taking it out, the lifts fail to operate. I don’t think that’s acceptable in a hotel like this.

“Location ideal, but laundry service is terrible”

The rooms were comfortable but a bit dated. There was a lot of security to get into the hotel, so it felt very safe. The mall was only a five‑minute walk away. Breakfast offered variety, but the lack of clear instructions or signs made it confusing to order made‑to‑order items. Other guests mentioned that breakfast is always the same each day. We had a spill in our luggage that soaked my dress, so I had it laundered at the hotel. I dropped it off on time for same‑day return, but when I checked, the dress wasn’t ready. Someone had forgotten to dry‑clean it and tried to lie about a maintenance issue, saying they needed to send it out. When I insisted the dress be returned because they were clearly lying, they suddenly claimed it could be ready in 20 minutes. I called them out on their lies, and they admitted they had dropped the ball and lied. The dress was not even fully cleaned when it was returned. Don’t get your laundry done here; it might never get cleaned. I wasn’t charged for the laundry, but only after I reminded them of their mistake.

This was my second stay at Mövenpick Islamabad; my first was a business trip, and after such a positive experience, I chose to return for a leisure stay with my elderly parents. The hospitality and service were exceptional again. Special thanks to Anzala and Fatima at the front desk. I simply asked for a larger room for extra comfort, and Fatima was incredibly accommodating, having already processed my request by the time I arrived. Anzala made the transition to the new room completely seamless. Both were warm, attentive, and extremely helpful. The rooms were spotless, with fresh, crisp linen, very comfortable beds, and clean modern bathrooms. The food was excellent, and the team also handled our allergy‑related dietary requests exceptionally well, as we used room service throughout our stay. The attention to detail and consistently high standard of cleanliness, comfort, pleasant attitude, and service from everyone really stood out. I sincerely hope they maintain this quality and their staff; it is certainly a hotel I would happily return to and recommend.
