Be Baleal Surfhouse

The spot had a good location and a nice balcony view, but we unfortunately ran into issues with volunteers and cleanliness—especially the kitchen and other shared spaces were at times extremely lacking. In other houses from the same provider it was clean; we just had bad luck.

The host and staff were very friendly. After a problem with the originally booked room, the host reacted immediately and I received an upgrade, which is a plus. I don't want to go into all the details and deliberately downplay the accommodation; I think it's passable as a hostel, though it didn't fully meet my wishes.

We had a great time at Be Baleal Surfhouse, with a location that’s close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Our room with a balcony and a fantastic view was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. Bruno and the whole team did a fantastic job keeping the shared kitchen, living room, and bathrooms organized and tidy. Booking the airport shuttle was hassle‑free and it worked perfectly even very early in the morning.

“Apenas para uma noite!”

I liked the location and the sunshine, but the accommodation doors stayed almost always open, making the space too airy and not cozy, and the bathroom on the upper floor was uncomfortable.
