All the best! We arrived at the chalet and were greeted with a wine (from our favorite grape). Régia (owner) is a show in herself—attention, friendliness, care in every detail. She gave us full support and restaurant recommendations, the best routes for tours, and directions to Monte Verde. Breakfast was sensational, served in a picnic basket left at the chalet door at the time we requested. The place is wonderful; the chalet’s backyard is a lake with a cabin, lounge chair, and everything well cared for. I already mentioned we’ll return soon. Every minute at Timber Lodge was worth it, and in the end we received a beautiful souvenir from the place personally handed over by Régia and her husband. The only downside was having to leave.
