The communication was good, but when I arrived there was a guy who didn't even know he was supposed to take a photo of my passport. The hotel was always filthy, with plastic bottles and extra trash in the hallways. When I entered my room it seemed only moderately normal, with air conditioning. As soon as I took off my shoes and stepped onto the floor, it was covered in dirt and my feet got dirty. That was how my stay began. I kept listing what I didn't like. Despite that, I thought, okay, in India things aren't always what they seem. I can handle these things. After that, when I went down to reception, no one was there. They didn't give me Wi‑Fi, nor did they ask for payment. I left and went for a walk. The next day, the brother of the person I was in contact with sent me messages saying they were looking for me. I went out to walk because that's why I came. He told me he needed to talk to me and I told him there was no hot water (though it was hot outside). With the air conditioning on and the early morning activities that need to start early to avoid heat, I woke up at 5 am and left very early; I would have liked hot water. Nothing happened. That could have been avoided. When I returned, Jay knocked on my door and said there were electricity problems and turned off the heater. I paid for two nights and told him my bus to Bodhgaya was leaving at 11:50 pm on the day of checkout. I asked if I could stay until 8:30 or 9 pm, and he said yes, with an extra charge, which I accepted and paid. When it was time to leave, I arrived at the hotel at 8:30 pm and Jay started shouting at me, saying I hadn't left and that I had to pay more, while he was on the phone with the host I first contacted, whom I never met. I told him I was going to shower and that I would be back, and asked why he was talking to me like that. I had spoken to Jay a day before and paid him directly. I was really scared by how he spoke to me. In a country where being a woman is complicated, hosts should make women feel safe. I went back to my room, showered quickly, and left. When I went down, no one was there. What did he gain by yelling at me and scaring me? Were they about to clean the room? If so, I would have liked to see a clean room during my stay. That didn't happen. I left that place and didn't want to stay even to order a taxi. I went to a café where I had eaten those days, and they were very kind to me.

The service was good, but the behaviour of some staff was also good.

I cannot answer that because I did not stay in the hotel. I did not stay in this hotel because, despite the booking, my room was no longer available. They wanted to give me a room without air conditioning, while I had booked one with air conditioning. The next days I would have had to move to a room with air conditioning, which I refused.
