“A good base to visit Conwy, Betws-y-Coed, Plas Newydd”

A very attractive old inn, on the waterfront of the Menai Strait and providing an outside area with seating on a grassy area to enjoy the view. I had a large twin room with a splendid view of the Strait. The inn offered a well chosen evening menu and excellent food. Understandably, the inn does not provide breakfast. The en-suite was very hot and there was no obvious means of controlling the room temperature

“Room with a view”

The location and view from the room .The room was spacious and up to date as was the shower room. Needed a light above the mirror as the fan in the bathroom was very noisy and came on everyone you put the light on Could hear the music from the bar from morning until bedtime

Good location. Bistro dinner (extra) was excellent. Staff super helpful. Would have been better if breakfast was available, we had to go and find somewhere to eat. Room sizes were variable (not surprising as it was an old building) so it was luck of the draw in terms of how much space there was
