“Beauty and perfection”

The place had everything, even a washer and dryer, and the location was perfect—close to town yet quiet because it's out of town. The road it sits on is ideal for a long 5‑mile walk or run in a stunning setting. The pillows could be firmer or come in more varieties, but everything else was flawless.

“Nicest place I’ve stayed in lava.”

Clean, quiet, and super comfortable, this spot made my trip great. The owner kept in touch to ensure everything was spot‑on, though the top floor took a few minutes to heat the water, which was still a fine stay overall.

The bed and bedding were comfy, and the kitchen and fridge were well stocked. Plenty of space, bright windows, and plenty of sunshine. On the downside, the second floor had no elevator, so lugging luggage was a hassle. There was no carpeting or area rugs, the wicker love seat was very uncomfortable, the electronic door lock didn’t work, and blackout curtains were missing.

“excellent just as advertised”

I didn’t have breakfast, but I’ve already recommended the lodge to friends and would stay again. The only issue was that the porch chairs could be better.
