“A Hidden Gem in the Old City”
The staff were ready to help with any need. The internet was very fast and consistent. The meals were what the family eats. To ensure quality, the food is made on site and ingredients like paneer and flour are prepared in the home. The haveli is located in the gem district of the historic center. You have a 15 to 20 minute walk to many major sites. Tuk tuks are available for a short ride to more distant locations. In short, a lovely historical building with excellent local vegetarian meals, comfortable lodging, good internet and an excellent staff who are ready to help you explore Jaipur. I enjoyed my stay. The only thing to remember is that you are in the heart of a historic center in the ancient city of Jaipur. When you leave the grounds of the haveli you will be walking through narrow streets with cattle, dogs and many people living their lives. Watch where you step, life can be messy.
“Beautiful Haveli”
The family‑run historic Haveli was well maintained and located in the heart of Jaipur’s old town. We stayed in the beautiful rooftop room, spotless, clean, and tastefully decorated. Everything worked fine, especially the modern conveniences like shower, air‑con, and internet. All meals, including breakfast, were home‑cooked and tasty. We had dinner there 2 out of 3 nights (there’s beer!). Being in the old town means the streets and surrounding areas can be messy and direct access with a normal car is not possible (if you’ve been to India, you know what I mean). The host had already informed me of this before arrival and arranged a tuk‑tuk to pick us up with our suitcases. All in all, we will definitely come back here when we visit Jaipur again.
“Feel like a local”
The vibe feels genuinely local, like staying in an old Jaipur villa with tiny doors and staircases; you can climb to the roof to read or watch the sunrise, which is super handy. If you want a luxurious, relaxing experience, this isn’t it, but I spent half a day with Raja, a tuktuk driver who’s awesome and explains a lot, and I really enjoyed it. Of course they’ll try to sell you jewellery or textiles at tourist prices, but that’s just part of traveling.
“Sentirsi a casa: dimora bella e staff cordiale!”
It was an authentic historic dwelling and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. The room was beautiful, tastefully furnished, clean and spacious. The owner was very kind and helpful, spent a lot of time with us and gave useful advice to make our stay perfect. Absolutely recommended! To get there you have to walk for 2 minutes through the inner streets of the bazaar, but we always felt safe and it’s a compromise worth paying for staying in such a beautiful haveli. The staff still helped us with luggage at arrival and departure!
A beautiful house cleverly hidden in the quiet alleys near the main bazaar. Everything was perfect.
