The setting is great for walking and hiking, but I wished the kitchen had a bread knife, deeper plates, and a ladle.
The place is gorgeous—waking up here is a treat—but the hot water took a while, which Paul fixed quickly.

The welcome was warm, the surroundings were peaceful, and the room was spotless with excellent bedding; we had a wonderful stay and will return. The only thing that could bother other couples is that the room we booked didn’t have a double bed, so a heads‑up would help.
