The location is a 14‑minute walk from the national train station and close to the city center. Getting to the accommodation requires climbing a steep first stairwell and then a second internal one. The two terraces are lovely, the building is split between the bedroom area and the large living‑kitchen. Nothing to complain about, though I’d add a kitchen cloth.

Clean, comfortable, with small touches at breakfast, a washing machine, and air‑conditioning. The stairs were too many for all the luggage, a rat droppings in the wardrobe on the terrace, mold on the kitchen ceiling, and no blinds in the living room, which is the second bedroom. The air‑conditioner leaked onto the terrace into a water‑collection bin.

“False promises: breakfast included but got a 1bottle of carrot juice for 4 for 2 days”

The beds were comfy and the kitchen had the basics. We booked a room that included breakfast, but the service was a mess. On day one, the owner said the staff simply “forgot.” Instead of breakfast, someone handed us a carrot juice, and when I insisted, they told us to go to a local café for coffee and a croissant. When I asked who would pay, the owner said we needed a “booking confirmation number” from the café—nonsense, since Italian cafés don’t issue reservation numbers for a quick breakfast over the phone. On day two, there was complete silence and still no breakfast. Total lack of professionalism.

“Definitiv nicht nocheinmal!”

The air conditioning worked well, and the fridge was large with an extra freezer; there were plenty of pots and pans for cooking. But where do I even start? The kitchen has a huge area covered in black mold that I wasn’t told about. The range hood is broken, and mold is also in the shower. The bathroom is tiny, the toilet seat is loose and wobbles, and all the handrails are loose, making the steep stairs feel unsafe because the rail can pull out of the wall. The big balcony can’t be used because the door won’t open without force, and balcony number two is unappealing because the AC condensate pools on the floor like a lake. The small bed had dirty paint and urine stains. I booked breakfast for two people for a week, but received eight coffee pods and a half-used pack of pancakes. Generally, everything in the cabinets was half-used; it’s not about food waste, but when new guests arrive, please put fresh items in there instead of leaving leftovers from previous stays. On the white front door to the apartment, the door handles are missing the screws, and my father almost fell down the small stairs because the handle suddenly slipped out of his hand.

The place is spacious and comfortable, located in a relatively quiet spot. The host is friendly and helpful. There’s a bit of mildew here and there, and a small water filtration would fit in the shower. The bathroom is tiny.
