“Catastrophique”

There was absolutely nothing good. The room was dusty, the shower mixer worked poorly, the ceiling fixture had five bulbs but only one worked, one wall lamp worked, the heating had a plastic burn mark, the linens were questionable, the window curtains were torn, the room was above the kitchen with loud music and pots clanging until 23:00. When we arrived we were asked to pay immediately, unlike other places where payment is at checkout. We requested breakfast, paid for it, but when we came in the morning the staff were surprised to see us and set us a table on the fly because they had forgotten to note us—catastrophic. The hotel should even offer a refund because it did not meet our expectations.

“A great location, but some updates are required.”

The hotel’s location was great, just outside Annecy, offering plenty of ways to explore. It sits on the main street, easy to find, with many parking options nearby. Check‑in was smooth and hassle‑free. The on‑site restaurant looked promising, though I didn’t eat there because I arrived too late. It’s a simple hotel that’s well‑located and provides a place to rest at night. The room felt outdated, the bathroom was small and the furniture was old; rooms should be updated to feel more modern and up to date.

The night was noisy, but overall it was a decent stay.

“Hotel bien situé pour aller randonner dans le secteur, bon rapport qualité prix, personnel sympa”

I didn’t take breakfast, but I had a well‑exposed room facing the quiet garden, which should have been calm at 7:00 am even with the windows open in summer – except on Monday 17/08 at exactly 7:00 am when municipal gardeners came to trim trees 50 m from the hotel windows along the parking lot, totally ruining the wake‑up.

The place was far too loud; the bar stayed open late into the night and cigarette smoke seeped into the rooms.
