The pool was fantastic, though a bit more variety at the buffet would have been nice.

The location was close to PortAventura, but the room smelled bad, the facilities were outdated, and the buffet was awful for a 4‑star Meliá hotel.

The facilities and buffet were very pleasant, yet it took a long time to clean a floor of rooms—cleaning started at 10:00, but when I returned at 14:30 or 15:00 the room still wasn’t tidy, and we weren’t told there was no double bed available; at least the front desk should have mentioned that upon check‑in.
