The common areas are pleasant and the mine tour is intriguing, but the pool was under renovation so we couldn’t use it. The beds and linens are in bad shape; the mattresses need replacement because they have too many broken springs, and the sheets are worn. The TV didn’t work.

The location, room view, friendly staff, and the pre‑hispanic mine are all great. However, the pool wasn’t operational, the bathroom had water issues—both the shower leaked and the toilet ran dry. We found a cockroach in the bed, the TV screen was tiny, and there was no mosquito net.

The view was great. The pool was under maintenance and nobody warned us; it was far away and they didn’t even arrange transport or offer any courtesy discount, so we had to cross the road ourselves to get there.

It does offer parking, a pool and a quiet atmosphere, which is nice. The beds are those old‑school spring mattresses—hard and digging into you—there was no Wi‑Fi, no TV, the water ran intermittently, and it would stop halfway through a shower, forcing me to wait about 5 minutes before finishing quickly because it cut out again.
