Since I had stayed here before, I knew what to expect. Breakfast was fine, and the staff were happy to give me poached eggs because I don’t eat meat. Thanks.

The location, car park, swimming pool, and great staff made the room very nice. I’ve used the Queens Hotel for many years and love it. The car park was very busy, so I parked nearby, especially since it was August.

The entertainment, food, and swimming pool were good. The room could use more hangers, and there’s nowhere to hang wet towels—hooks on the back of the bathroom door would help.

Everything was great, and I’ll come back next year.

The people I chatted with were friendly and the bed felt comfy. However, there was only one lift and the corridors were narrow; my room lacked a coffee table, only a dressing table. The stairs to the restaurant and the pool were not accessible for disabled guests, and the menu offered very limited, not great options. They changed the hallway floor on a Sunday in August, which meant the lift and the downstairs toilet were unusable for about 4 hours.
