I stayed in a room in the tower, a unique spot with a 270° view of the river and the castle walls to the left; the town centre location, easy parking, and a genuinely hospitable host made us feel special and welcomed, but the Indian restaurant seemed oddly placed, didn't attract many customers, and a brasserie would have fit the area better.
