The facilities were spacious and better than I expected. The staff were foreigners and Japanese didn’t get through, plus there was a distinct love‑hotel smell.

It was cheap, but it still had that old love‑hotel vibe; the bath washing area was cramped and slippery.

“I enjoyed the different rooms, and hospitality, but wish they could have done better in cleanliness.”

Every room had a theme from a different prefecture, and the staff were friendly and helped us switch rooms so everyone could join. She even showed me each room before the whole group of 10 arrived. Unfortunately, the staff couldn’t speak Japanese or English very well, a few cockroaches were present, some rooms were dark, and the hotel was hard to locate.

I can speak Chinese; there were some hiccups during check‑in, but they were resolved smoothly.
