“Amazing”

The stay was incredible; the staff were amazing and the facilities and food were outstanding. The only downside was that the shower pressure was low.

“Brilliant Stay”

All the staff made us feel welcome, respected our need for a gluten‑free adult menu, and offered appropriate alternatives; it was brilliant. The place was peaceful, the en‑suite was lovely, and we were happy to stay. Parking was a bit awkward, but that was just due to the narrow road widths.

“Lovely village pub with a welcoming atmosphere, with good beer and food.”

The room was very nice, the bed was comfy, and everything was very clean. The beer and evening dinner were good, the staff were great, and the bar area was lovely. Breakfast offered a good selection of cereals and fruit, and the whole place had a good vibe. The pub/hotel doesn’t have a car park (which isn’t anyone’s fault), and street parking was hit‑or‑miss depending on the time of arrival—smaller cars would have found it easier.

“Excellent accommodation and food. Very friendly host and nice comfortable room.”

Breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal we had was just as good.
