The hotel was close to the train station and bus stops for Sa Pa and Hanoi, which was convenient. The room was clean and quiet at night, but the hotel itself was a bit rough around the edges.

“Good clean value for money room”

I was really impressed with the room - it was huge and spotless. There's not much else to say, but that's a good thing. The room was perfect for a night or two.

“Cheap and close to station. Ok for one night”

The hotel's location is great, and the price is even better. The beds were comfy, but the thin walls made for a terrible night's sleep. I could hear everything going on in the next room, including some pretty loud noises at 1am. To make matters worse, the lift was out of order when I left, so I had to lug my bags down five flights of stairs in the dark. And to top it all off, the receptionist didn't have change for my payment, so I had to watch her leave the building to get some.

The hotel's location is perfect, but the beds and bedding are definitely due for an upgrade. The hot water wasn't always available, which was a bit of a hassle.
